EU head Ursula Von der leyen could become the new NATO head

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen could be the one who replaces Jens Stoltenberg as the head of NATO, The Sun reports citing a a diplomatic source.

Stoltenberg who resigns as the NATO secretary general in October, could be replaced by the EU head von der leyen, who according to the UK tabloid has become a “favorite” to take over the job as the head of NATO, since “a number of NATO members” proposed von der Leyen’s candidacy.
